WHAT IS CHIROPRACTIC CARE?
Chiropractic care is a natural form of health care that uses non-invasive methods to restore proper function to the nervous system, helping your body to heal naturally. Chiropractors don’t prescribe drugs or perform surgery. Instead, they primarily utilize spinal adjustments and various conservative manual therapies to restore proper function to the spine, thereby assisting the body to regain function. What We Treat
Back and Neck Pain
Back and neck pain, including chronic pain, can be treated effectively through disc decompression.
Disc decompression therapy creates negative pressure on the discs of the spine, effectively pulling them back into place.
Worn Spinal Joints
Also known as posterior facet syndrome, worn spinal joints have shown a reduction in symptoms with disc decompression.
Disc decompression can reduce compression of the Sciatic nerve and reduce symptoms of pain and spasms.
By gently stretching the spine, disc decompression reduces symptoms of degenerative disc disease by reducing pressure in the spine.
Disc decompression is a non-invasive treatment proven effective at treating spinal stenosis and relieving symptoms.
Through disc decompression, chiropractors can relieve pain and reduce the severity of chronic headaches.
Disc decompression therapy is used by chiropractors to relieve compression of the nerves, reducing pain and inflammation.
What To Expect During Your Spinal Visit
Prior to your consultation with the doctor, you will be asked to complete some brief paperwork that will give the doctor a synopsis of your health history. This assists the doctor in more accurately making his diagnosis.
At Quest Chiropractic, we offer a free consultation whereby the doctor will personally review your case to determine if you are a good candidate for care in our office. If he determines, based on the patient history and clinical experience, that you are a good candidate for care, he will then perform a thorough exam of the spine and extremities. If we determines that you are not a good candidate for care, we will then refer you to an appropriate specialist.
